Belpark is always open to new members, from complete beginners to the more experienced triathlete. It’s just €40 to join Belpark for the year, this is one of the cheapest memberships on offer in Dublin!
Our training sessions cater for all abilities and there’s always a friendly face to be found. Our very popular new members evening runs at the beginning of each year to give new and potential members a good insight in to the club and to meet some of the existing members. We encourage people to try out up to 3 of our run and cycle sessions before joining to get a feel for triathlons and the club itself.
We run a number of beginner specific sessions, from bike handling to open water, to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the various disciplines of triathlon. Every year we nominate a sprint distance triathlon as a focus point for our new members, and for 2017 we will also nominate an olympic distance triathlon to help you progress. We actively encourage everyone to get involved to generate some team spirit and get the competitive juices flowing!
Please note that Belpark are not automatically notified when new members join so please drop an email to New Members to introduce yourself and ask any questions which you may have.
Our New Members Officer for 2017 is Deirdre MacNally and Deputy New Members Officer is Linda Fitzsimons. Both Deirdre and Linda are happy to answer questions over email and are at lots of our training sessions so you can arrange to meet them at a session and take it from there! Both are very approachable so if you do have any questions be sure to ask either of them!
