Injury Prevention, Strength and Conditioning Pilates for Triathletes
Pilates tickets for the next block of classes are currently on sale.
Belpark holds an injury prevention, strength & conditioning classes on Monday nights in the Rathfarnham Athletics Clubhouse. These classes are run by a physiotherapist and work on flexibility, lumbar spine and lower limb muscle strength work (including glutes activation, abdominal work etc), balance and co-ordination. These are quite similar to a Pilates class in nature which are tailored towards triathlon.
The classes are suitable to all levels and numbers are kept small to allow for proper focus on technique & individual attention from the instructor. There has been great feedback from those who attended previous classes.
As Per Emmet’s presentation, athletes are most at risk to injury when returning from a break and ramping up training so this offer the perfect opportunity to stay injury free.
Please note that due to the popular nature these classes sell out quickly. There is no option for PAYG with this class to ensure that we can build & progress each week.
The block of 9 classes will start on Monday, 14 January from 7:30-8:30pm and 8:30-9:30pm and run until the 11 March.
The 9-week block cost is €55.
