Jack is a former Irish masters swim record breaker with extensive coaching experience with both masters and triathlon clubs in Dublin including Dublin Swimming Club and Piranha. He regularly takes our Monday morning sessions coaching all levels of abilities.
Kevin is a long time Belpark member and coaches our Wednesday and Friday morning sessions. Kevin is a competitive athlete, racing Category 1 in 2015. He’s currently completing his Level 1 coaching qualifications. He also offers personal coaching. He has an impressive resume as a competitor in triathlon, aquathon and open water swimming, including winning the Ireland’s Eye open water swim in 2013, several Bull Wall aquathon wins and numerous wins and podiums in triathlon.
BIKE & RUN Coaches
Phil is our Junior Coach and is a qualified Level 1 coach. Phil organises various junior coaching sessions, races and events through the year for our junior members. In addition, he leads our BRIC (bike & run) sessions in the Phoenix Park over the summer.
Liam is a former national champion at duathlon and long time club member. Liam leads our winter turbo bike sessions.
David is a level 1 Triathlon Ireland coach and experienced triathlete and runner. He has led various running and bike sessions, as well as assisting at junior events. He’s also a qualified Technical Official who has officiated at races.
The club also invites top level coaches from across Ireland and abroad to lead various specialised training sessions.
- Brian Sweeney is an excellent coach with Swim Ireland, coaching international swimmers to great success. Brian won the Club Coach of the Year in 2014 at the Swim Ireland Awards.
- Paddy Doran is a level 3 Cycling Ireland coach, who has trained professional, International and club cyclists from road, track and mountain biking. Paddy coaches with Peak Endurance Coaching.
- Tanja Slater is an ex-elite level triathlete and coach with Up and Active. Tanja has hosted our warm weather training camps.
